Product details
The inner surface hardness of the material tube is higher than that of the screw, and its damage occurs later than that of the screw. The scrapping of the barrel refers to the increase in inner diameter due to time wear and tear. The repair method is as follows:
1. When the diameter of the barrel increases due to wear and tear, if there is still a certain amount of nitriding layer, the inner hole of the barrel can be directly drilled, and a vacuum suction cup can be used to grind it to a new diameter size, and then a new screw can be prepared according to this diameter.
2. The inner diameter of the barrel is machined, trimmed, and re cast with alloy, with a thickness between 1-2mm, and then precision machined to the desired size.
3. In general, the homogenization section of the mechanical arm cylinder wears out quickly. This section (5~7D long) can be bored and repaired, and then equipped with a nitriding alloy steel liner. The inner hole diameter should be based on the screw diameter, leaving a normal fit gap for processing and preparation. After restoration, there is no need to make any modifications to the plasticization parameters in the entire machine.
Explain the technical issues with repairing old screws and old material pipes:
Renovation of old screws: The outer diameter of the screw is first treated, the surface is sprayed with tungsten carbide alloy, and then ground smooth to match the inner hole of the material tube. The bottom diameter of the screw is electroplated with hard chromium. In response to the needs of various plastic products, most of the currently used super engineering plastics contain additives such as fire retardants, glass fibers, stone powder, and modifiers, which cause rapid corrosion, wear, and shortened service life of the material pipes and screws. In addition to significant achievements in the manufacturing of twin-screw screws and material tubes, our company's engineering and technical personnel have also developed a method of repairing old screws using twin-screw alloy spraying in combination with traditional Chinese technology. This process ensures that the sprayed alloy layer never falls off, has no cracks or pores, and strictly controls issues such as workpiece deformation. And the old material tube adopts boring or inner hole embedding. After repair, the plasticization parameters in the whole machine do not need to be modified, and its service life is much longer than the conventional material components you purchase, bringing greater wealth to the rubber and plastic industry.
Renovation of old material pipes: Long term use of screws is inevitably subject to wear and tear, and frequent replacement with new ones will inevitably bring huge expenses to the enterprise. Refurbishing screws can save you costs and improve the performance of old equipment.
After using the screw for a period of time, the edges of the screw and the carbonization layer of the barrel (both the screw and barrel undergo carbonization heat treatment when making new screws, resulting in a carbonization layer of about 50 threads on the surface) are worn in both directions, and the gap between the two sides increases, leading to partial plastic reflux and a decrease in yield and plasticizing effect. Screw refurbishment is to increase the thickness of the edges on the old screw, fill the gaps, and achieve the goal of increasing production.
The combined working quality of screws and barrels has a significant impact on the plasticization of materials, the quality of products, and production efficiency. Their working quality is related to the manufacturing accuracy and assembly clearance of the barrel screws. When the screw barrel is severely worn and the production of plastic machinery decreases, maintenance of the screw and barrel should be arranged.
At present, the content of glass fiber in various engineering plastics on the market is constantly increasing, as well as the addition of various fillers, modifiers, etc. The production of plastics such as electric wood and iron powder is prone to wear and tear on machine barrels and screws, resulting in high costs for equipment replacement parts in various enterprises.
